Place the seal installer over the front main seal and insert the stock crank bolt into the seal installer. Tighten the bolt until the seal sits on the same level as the oil pump housing. Do not over-torque the seal installer, a firm snug( \u0026lt; 40 lb.ft) is all that is needed. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMethod 2: Place the seal onto the oil pump housing and lightly press it in with the seal installer by hand, making sure the seal is centered on the oil pump housing.
