A70 Supra Exterior Trim Clips (89-92)

These exterior trim clips are designed for the 1989–1992 Toyota Supra (A70). On the A70 Supra, these clips are a commonly broken component because they are designed as single-use fasteners. Once removed, they often break or lose their retention strength. Unfortunately, the original equipment (OE) manufacturer no longer reproduces these clips, making them increasingly difficult to source. Similar to the rubber body inserts that fit into the vehicle body, these components have become hard-to-find replacement parts.

Each trim section requires the following number of clips:

- Front fender trim: 3 clips

- Door trim: 4 clips

- Rear quarter trim: 5 clips

This results in 12 clips per side of the vehicle, or 24 clips for both sides combined.

Each trim tab requires a rubber plug that inserts into the vehicle body. A rubber plug is included with every trim clip. We will offer these trim clips in different quantity options to accommodate various restoration or repair needs.

The rubber plugs are 3D printed using TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). TPU provides excellent flexibility, durability, and resistance to cracking, allowing the plugs to compress properly during installation while maintaining a secure fit in the body panel.

The trim tabs are 3D printed using ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate). ASA is chosen for its high strength, UV resistance, and excellent weather durability, making it well-suited for exterior automotive applications where exposure to sunlight and temperature changes is expected.

The front fender and rear quarter panels use the same type of clips, while the door trim requires a different style. Please ensure you select the correct clips when ordering if you only need clips for a specific trim section.
