A70 Supra seatbelt guide

This A70 Supra seatbelt guide is not just a replacement — it’s a complete redesign of the OEM component.

Rather than mimicking the factory part with minor cosmetic changes, we chose to take a different approach. The original seatbelt guide serves its purpose, but its design is conservative and known to have a structural weak point at the mounting tab. Over time, that area is prone to cracking or breaking due to repeated stress from daily seatbelt use.

Instead of recreating the same limitations, we engineered a guide that is both visually striking and structurally reinforced.

Why We Didn’t Copy the OEM Design

While we could have produced a near-OEM replica, we wanted something that:

 - Enhances the aggressive, angular styling of the A70 Supra

 - Looks intentional and performance-inspired

 - Feels like a modern upgrade rather than a replacement part

The sharp lines and bold geometry complement the Supra’s wedge-shaped body and interior design language. This guide looks like it belongs in a performance build — not just as a factory carryover.

Reinforced Where the Factory Failed

One of the known weak points of the OEM guide is the mounting tab area. Over time, constant seatbelt tension and repeated pulling create stress concentration in that thin section, leading to breakage.

Our redesign addresses this by:

 - Increasing the material thickness at the mounting point

 - Redistributing load across a stronger base structure

 - Reducing stress concentration in high-tension areas

 - Using ASA-CF material for added stiffness and strength

The result is a seatbelt guide that not only looks better but is significantly more durable than the original

Material: ASA-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced ASA)

The guide is 3D printed using ASA-CF, an engineering-grade material ideal for automotive applications.

Benefits in Automotive Use:

 - Excellent UV resistance (won’t fade or yellow)

 - High heat resistance for hot interior conditions

 - Increased rigidity from carbon fiber reinforcement

 - Reduced flex and long-term deformation

 - Durable, matte OEM-like finish

This ensures the part maintains its structural integrity even under daily use and extreme interior temperatures.

Each set includes:

 - Left and right seatbelt guides

 - Stainless steel mounting hardware for secure installation
