MK1 Motorsport MK3 Supra Foldable Side Mirror Lower Support (LHD)
Cracked or damaged side mirror supports are a common issue on the MK3 Supra, especially on LHD models. After years of exposure to sunlight and weather, the OEM lower mirror support can become brittle and crack. Unfortunately, there are very few options to restore the original mirror without replacing the entire mirror assembly with a different style.
We decided to recreate the OEM lower support using modern 3D printing technology and PC-CF (Polycarbonate Carbon Fiber), one of the strongest materials commonly available for FDM 3D printing.
The PC-CF construction provides a rigid and durable replacement support designed to withstand the loads and vibration experienced during high-speed driving.
Direct Bolt-On Design
The lower support is designed to reuse the OEM mounting locations and hardware wherever possible, making installation as close to a direct bolt-on replacement as possible.
Bodywork / Finishing
Because this is a 3D-printed component, some surface imperfections and visible layer lines may be present, particularly on the lower portion of the mirror support.
For the best OEM-style finish, additional bodywork will be required. We recommend:
- Sanding
- Primer/filler
- Additional sanding as needed
- Painting to match the OEM mirror finish
This allows you to achieve a much smoother, factory-style appearance.
